I believe that exceptional education begins with relationships, high expectations, and personalized support. Every student learns differently, and my approach centers on understanding each learner’s strengths, challenges, goals, and interests in order to create an experience that is both academically rigorous and deeply supportive.
Whether working with students in STEAM, music, standardized test preparation, or college admissions coaching, I focus on building confidence alongside competence. I strive to create learning environments where students feel challenged, encouraged, and empowered to take ownership of their growth. My instruction combines structure, accountability, and individualized mentorship to help students develop the critical thinking, discipline, and resilience necessary for long-term success.
As an educator and instructional leader trained through the Harvard Graduate School of Education School Leadership Program, I bring both classroom expertise and a broader understanding of educational systems, leadership, and student development. My experience working in urban public schools, International Baccalaureate environments, and multilingual communities has strengthened my ability to support students from diverse backgrounds with empathy, cultural responsiveness, and high academic standards.
I view education not simply as tutoring, but as mentorship. My goal is to help students grow academically, intellectually, and personally while developing the confidence to thrive in competitive academic environments and beyond.

My journey in education has been shaped by a passion for learning, leadership, and service. I began my professional career in music education after earning my Bachelor of Music from Florida State University, where I developed a strong foundation in performance, discipline, creativity, and instruction. My early experiences directing music programs taught me the importance of mentorship, relationship-building, and creating spaces where students feel seen and inspired.
Over time, my passion for teaching expanded into STEM education and instructional leadership. I transitioned into science education, teaching Earth & Space Science, Physical Science, and later International Baccalaureate Chemistry in diverse public school settings. Working closely with multilingual learners, students with disabilities, and culturally diverse communities deepened my commitment to educational equity and student-centered instruction.
As Science Department Head at Boston Public Schools’s, I led curriculum collaboration, instructional planning, and department-wide academic initiatives focused on improving student outcomes and strengthening equitable teaching practices. My leadership experiences continued through internships in Cambridge and Boston Public Schools, where I supported instructional coaching, restorative practices, multilingual learner support systems, and school-wide leadership initiatives.
These experiences ultimately led me to pursue graduate training at the Harvard Graduate School of Education in the School Leadership Pathway, where I further developed my expertise in instructional leadership, equitable systems design, and educational mentorship.
Today, my work brings together all of these experiences — educator, musician, mentor, instructional leader, and coach — to provide students and families with a highly personalized and academically rigorous learning experience grounded in excellence, authenticity, and meaningful relationships.
